I found two more soap mold boxes with broken ends, sanded the old glue off with the belt sander, cut pieces to fit for the sides with my compound mitre saw, and glued them onto the ends of the boxes. Good work!

I've used up most of my energy now. Perhaps Once upon a time is available on ctv.ca now? I'll go have a look!

I was heading to bed, but went into the kitchen and sorted out the dirty campfire dishes and sent them to the upstairs bathtub with Willem. He's so nice to me ( Read more... )

I cut my blueberry loofah soap. It is so lovely. So nice on the hand. I love it!

I also cut the rest of the oatemal honey soap from Feb. 16, 2009. I screwed one end onto the end of the soap box and glued the end onto another soap box.

I made liners for each of them and finished the lid for one.

It was great. She sat here in awe of the room. I don't notice it anymore cos I'm in it all the time. She really liked all the flowers in the baskets along the top of the wall, the yellow wall behind it, all the colour in the geraniums ( Read more... )

My soap boxes are looking good. I'm so glad I have them all made up now before the wood got any worsely warped! Warped wood is a big bummer!
